Language Catalogue

Choosing a replacement lesson from the Language Catalogue

Choosing a replacement lesson from the Langauge Catalogue is a brand new way of replacing regular lessons and gives the student a completely new experience of language training. The student is offered a list of unique lessons which enable the student to study in a new setting with new fellow students and new teachers. This gives them the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone which turns out to be fairly limiting when it comes to further progress in language skills.

Language Catalogue is designed to fully accommodate each student's individual interests and needs. Choosing the replacement format and the suitable date is directly in the student's hands.

Language Catalogue's lessons and topics are structured so that their methodology leads to quick and easy application of the newly learnt language into real life. This kind of intensive language training can be taken in three languages:

After a lesson gets cancelled, teachers have 48 hours (2 working days) to offer up to 3 replacement dates. If none of the dates suit the students or the teacher cannot offer a replacement date, students receive an email with a link to the Language Catalogue

Before entering the Language Catalogue, students of individual courses can choose to replace the cancelled lesson via a set of phone calls with their teacher.

What does Language Catalogue offer?

More information

The current offer on Catalogue lessons is always limited to 30 days after the date of the cancelled lesson. The sooner students enter the Language Catalogue, the larger the offer on dates and topics they can choose from is.

Students can sign up for a Catalogue lesson 48 hours prior to the date at the latest. This is why the last day of the 30-day term is always displayed as empty.

Catalogue lessons are split into 2 categories - some of them are topic-based, others are skill-based. The offer differs based on the language (English, German and Czech) and the language level. For the A1 level, only topic-based are available - skill-based lessons are part of the Catalogue from the A2 level onwards.
