Conditions for successful learning and achievement of the target level of knowledge and skills
Course parameters
maximum of 5 students in a group of the same level (different levels of language proficiency mean slower progress)
recommended intensity 2 x 90 min. per week (90 min. lessons are preferable, for 60-minute lessons, a minimum of 60 mins of preparation is required)
Home preparation and free time
at least 2-3 times 15 minutes between individual lessons (homework, vocabulary, reading, preparation of questions, practice)
according to Cambridge ESOL, the essential requirement for B1-C2 levels where more self-study time is required than only lessons with a teacher
reading fiction and non-fiction and daily newspapers in the target language, watching films/programmes, listening to radio
contact with native speakers, picking up pronunciation, accents, focus on phrases, idioms
