CALCULATOR for comparing the current and reduced costs (FIXED contribution and PENALISATION contribution
SCENARIO n. 1: Students contribute to their language courses
If students contribute to their language courses financially, they are more engaged and committed. There are different kinds of students' contributions:
PROPORTIONATE: defined by a specific percentage of the real cost
FIXED: a fixed amount paid for each lesson / time period (e.g. month, quarter)
REFUNDABLE: the cost of the language course will be reimbursed (fully or partially) after meeting pre-defined conditions (e.g. passing a language exam)
PENALISATION: student pays the cost of the language course (fully or partially) if they do not meet the conditions (e.g. attendance, language progress)
All you have to do is sign a Payroll Deduction Agreement with the employee and, in cooperation with the Finance Department, deduct the amounts on a regular basis.
SCENARIO n. 2: Students learn languages within the benefit program
JCL language courses can be reimbursed through an invoice or through the benefit program.
We recommend that students consider whether language lessons are a need or a reward.
Students who do not need language lessons and these are hencce a perk can pay for their lessons themselves.
